(KUTV)- Patients of Shriners Hospitals for Children and their families had the chance to participate in an Easter egg hunt Wednesday.
Adapted for children of all abilities, the hunt was part of the hospital’s annual Spring Fest where there was a petting zoo, crafts, movies, and face painting.
Officials at Shriners say they have some patients that will not be home for Easter and others who cannot participate in community Easter egg hunts due to physical limitations. This event gives those children space, time, and support they need to enjoy a springtime tradition.
Shriners Hospitals for Children changes lives every day through state-of-the-art pediatric orthopedic care for a wide range of diseases and disorders of the bones, muscles, and joints.
